Meriwether Lewis
Tonight was the living wax museum for the Greenhouse. Charlie, his friend Isaac, and Isaac's sister, Hannah, did a scene based on this picture.
Pretty good, don't you think?
I have no idea how they stand so still for 15 minutes, but they do~
It's actually The Art Show and Living Wax Museum...


And here is the pièce de résistance - a replica of Picasso's Guernica~
My photo doesn't do it justice. Each child had a couple of tiles to work on individually (using a collage format), resulting in the final piece. I'm sure I'm not explaining it well, but it was more amazing then it looks here. Hopefully this beautiful mosaic will find a permanent home somewhere, so we can see it up close again!
Who painted the picture their scene was based on? I think another group tried to do the same picture, but the girl couldn't hold up her arm the whole time.
