That was Charlie's time in the triathlon today. We are so proud of him for even attempting this, let alone finishing! This morning as we were driving downtown, Charlie started saying he was nervous. When we saw Lake Michigan out the window, he said he didn't want to do it anymore. Of course, he changed him mind :) He started out great in the water - finishing the swim portion in the top 25%. He had a malfunction on the bike, though, when his shoelace got caught on the pedal :( Untangling really slowed him down. He did his best to make it up in the running part - and finished strong. He was exhausted though. This was his first time trying something like this - he wants to do it again, but not for awhile. Someday it would be fun for the three of them to compete as a relay team :)
