Buca di Beppo

Less than a month late, we took Charlie for his surprise birthday dinner. He was thrilled when we were seated at the "kitchen table" at Buca di Beppo~

They really know how to celebrate back in the kitchen! We loved the birthday candelabra~
Of course, our little Guido had to ham it up~
So fun! We were able to watch the inner workings of a very busy restaurant. The food was awesome, and the staff treated us like royalty~
You need a big mouth to get a pasta-spoon full of ice cream in - no problem for Mary~
The trouble with eating Italian food is that five or six days later you're hungry again. ~George Miller Truer words were never spoken. We were stuffed. What a great birthday!
